Membership
If you love embroidery and like to stitch, there is a great resource at hand in the Regina Stitchery Guild. No matter what your skill level, beginner or skilled needle worker, you will be welcomed by the Guild. If you are new to embroidery we’ll be happy to give you the help you need. If you are an advanced needle worker, our members would be delighted to have you share your skills and ideas with us.
The activities of the Regina Stitchery Guild focus on embroidery techniques using a threaded needle. Some of the techniques featured in the Guild include: Battenberg Lace, Blackwork, Brazilian, Canvas Work, Crewel, Counted Cross Stitch, Drawn Thread, Hardandanger, Kogin, Metal Thread Embroidery, Pulled Thread and Smocking.
Join the Guild
The Guild meets at 1:30 PM the second Sunday of the month in the stitching room at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre, 2420 Elphinstone Street, in Regina. Come to any meeting as a guest to learn more about the Guild. Complete a membership application at the meeting. Memberships are $80.00 for a calendar year.
