What’s New At Sask Craft Council – November 14- January 6, 2024

Yellow Canoe is a solo exhibition by textile artist Hilary Johnstone of La Ronge, SK. Johnstone’s textile works are thoughtfully crafted from sketches and compositions drawn by the artist while hiking and canoeing in Northern Saskatchewan. This exhibition depicts Johnstone’s experiences with nature, from observing the lace-like intricacies of moss to witnessing the chaos and renewal of a Boreal forest fire.
